Class Schedule for the Cruise
Classes
This year's class schedule is not set yet, but here is
some information on the types of classes that will be offered. There
are usually 10-15 individual workshops of 1 1/2 to 2 hours each, subjects
usually included are:
- Zills
- Veil or Double Veil
- Drum Solo
- Drumming (playing)
- Choreography / Interpretation / Use of Music
- Combinations and how to use them
- Performance Skills (entrances and exits, creating personal
style, emotional dynamics, developing your dance accent)
- A prop class (cane, sword, tray)
- One or more ethnic-based dance (Ghawazee, Debke, Flamenco
Fusion, African dance)
- Folkloric Dance for Oriental Dancers
- American Tribal Style Dance
- Floorwork
- Henna Class

set.
