Kamaal
Kamaal began dancing professionally in 1986. His unique dance style incorporates MidEastern folkloric and Egyptian cabaret. A former ballroom competition dancer, Kamaal likes to include bot h jazz and ballroom into his routines. Along with his fine dancing he incorporates tray and sword balancing, and his show stopping specialty, the double veil.
Kamaal was twice named "Mr. America of the Belly Dance (1986 and 1992). He was twice a finalist in the national "Belly Dancer of the Year " competition, and took third place in the 1993 "Southern California International Belly Dance Competition." He was also voted the 1993 and 1994 "Best Professional Male Belly Dancer" by Nafisa Magazine's "Gem Awards".
